Roem Baur is a San Francisco based singer-songwriter who’s sound is a dynamic mix of soul, opera and 60’s folk music. Drawing comparisons as diverse at Jeff Buckley, Stevie Wonder and Roy Orbison he has recently release his first E.P. “The Thief” which was recorded over 9 nights in St. Luke's Episcopal Church sanctuary in San Francisco with a 50 year-old pawn shop guitar, a grand piano and a string quartet. This year he was selected in SFGate.com’s “Best of The Bay” Radio and recently played to rave reviews at Cafe Du Nord, Great American Music Hall, and The Hotel Utah. Since his sold-out CD release house concert in June this is the last house concert of the year. The MAMA and Elly Award winner is embarking on a 3-week West Coast Tour this October including a stop in San Francisco at Yoshi's on October 30th.
